In 2013, the motto of the Festival Kunstfestspiele Herrenhausen Hannover was 'Heimat Utopie' (Homeland Utopia). In my version of Heimat Utopie, I referred to the famous Ruby Slippers, the magic pair of shoes worn by Dorothy Gale in "The Wizard of Oz", as a symbol for a constant search after home, and the utopian thought that by knocking your heels together three times you would eventually arrive there.

Heimat Utopie was presented during the opening night, as an intervention in the foyer of Schloss Herrenhausen.
